ChatGPT is finally getting its iPhone moment.

OpenAI just released an official app for the popular generative AI product on Apple’s app store. This comes after countless other apps have surfaced that have effectively been thin wrappers on top of the ChatGPT model.

With the release of the official app, OpenAI might be one step closer to becoming a true consumer platform company. With reportedly over hundreds of millions of users, it already has quite a good head start.
