It’s boom time for AI startups.

We’re seeing companies be formed and funded in AI with no business plan and no product. But that hasn’t stopped investors from chasing after and throwing money at researchers who have authored fundamental papers in the space, believing that these people will just figure it out along the way.

But with every boom, will there also be a bust? We’ll have to see to find out.
