When it becomes trivially easy to produce content that you would have otherwise had to hire a freelancer to create, what then becomes of the freelance industry?

In a report from Forbes, people from small business owners to large enterprises are turning away from contracting sites like Upwork or Fiverr as they are able to get many of the same copywriting services from ChatGPT for free.

It speaks to the new reality that we’re in where people are experiencing new levels of productivity, but at the same time are losing out on income they would have made otherwise. Unless you are highly specialized, you might find it much harder to secure freelancing gigs.
