We need more open-source AI.
We’ve covered in previous issues the increasing influence of big tech on modern AI development. To many that can look like the technology is becoming more closed-source and behind company firewalls. But there's an increasing movement among the community to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Definitely check out today’s “Projects to Keep an Eye On” for several open-source Github projects on chatbot assistants. Hopefully we see more of these come out over the coming months.
