A new editorial from POLITICO asserts that the technology powering ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, and many more algorithms may become (if not already) the moats that further deeply entrench tech giants rather than shake up the status quo.
One big reason for that? The sheer cost and number of resources required (from data, to compute, to research and engineering talent).
