Will Disneyworld slowly morph into Westworld? The latest moves from the entertainment giant might be pointing us towards that direction.

Disney is forming an AI task force to explore how AI can be used to augment in-person experiences at Disney theme parks as well as how it could be used to cut costs related to digital entertainment and filmmaking.

We’ve already seen some of these efforts play out in areas like de-aging technology applied to some of its beloved, older actors and animatronic robots for fan-favorite characters like Groot.
