Yesterday was a big day in AI for Amazon as they made some big announcements during the AWS Summit in New York.
Some of those announcements include:
AWS HealthScribe, a HIPPA-eligible generative AI-powered service that transcribes patient-clinician conversations and creates clinical documents, aiming to reduce the time clinicians spend on detailed documentation.
Free generative AI courses for people of all skills and backgrounds.
New foundational models in Amazon Bedrock like Claude 2, Cohere, and Stability AI.
AWS's vector engine for Amazon OpenSearch Serverless makes it easier for developers to search embeddings and incorporate them into LLM applications.
And Amazon EC2 P5 Instances powered by Nvidia H100 Tensor Core GPUs
With these offerings, Amazon is looking to mark their ground as the AI wars heat up.
