Plus, majority of Americans have strong concerns around AI according to CNBC survey.

Is Google experiencing a “Return of the King” moment?

Google co-founder Sergey Brin is taking a more active role in the company's AI efforts especially as it seeks to compete against ChatGPT with their own LLM-powered chatbot Bard.

Despite historically maintaining a hands-off approach to the company, Brin has been frequently present at Google offices, dedicating three to four days a week to work with the AI team responsible for developing the next-generation AI model, Gemini.

The move comes after Bard was criticized for its lack of sophistication and errors compared to its competitor.

What will the Brin-effect have on Google’s AI push? We’ll have to see to find out.
