The Pew Research Center recently published how Americans are increasingly using ChatGPT for tasks at work, to learn something new, and simply for entertainment. However, in an upcoming 2024 election cycle, few trust the output for accurate political information.

Line charts showing that about a third of employed Americans under 30 have now used ChatGPT for work.

Several tech companies have dedicated efforts to prevent the misuse of AI in election proceedings, however several reports have shown that chatbots themselves are providing misleading answers to the public.
