Plus, how the British overseas territory Anguilla becomes an unlikely benefit of the AI boom.
Andreessen Horowitz released their latest report on how enterprises are building and buying generative AI. The report is rich of interesting tidbits and graphics but one that particularly caught my eye was the breakdown of which models enterprises are gravitating to.
Interestingly, despite its public snafus, more companies are testing with Google’s models like Gemini more than any other provider. For production workloads though, OpenAI still maintains a large lead thanks in large part to its prominence in Microsoft’s enterprise AI strategy.
The question is: will these numbers stay the same one year from now? Or will another provider leapfrog the competition?
