Today’s edition covers some of the latest headlines in self-driving cars!

Tesla’s soon-to-be announced full-self-driving version 12 “won’t be beta” according to Elon Musk, signaling that it could be the first stable release for the automaker.

At the same time, Apple secret self-driving car efforts appear to be stalled in favor of a Level 2 driver-assist system that’ll be featured in their EV marked for a 2028 release.

And perhaps the leader in the space, Google’s Waymo is expanding their fleet of robotaxis in Los Angeles which is a departure from General Motor’s Cruise which has itself scaled down efforts after their recent controversies.

Who will ultimately come out ahead in this space? And will 2024 see self-driving’s ChatGPT moment?
