Plus, a survey from AI researchers on the state of the field shows mixed beliefs on progress

Will the future of dining be completely autonomous?

A new concept out in Pasadena, California might give us a hint at what the future of eating might look like.

“CaliExpress by Flippy” is a fully autonomous restaurant powered by AI that features a short-order cooking robot called Flippy along with a BurgerBot for grilling patties.

The Flippy 2 robotic burger and fries chef has now got its own autonomous restaurant

The holding company Cali Group owns Miso Robotics, the firm behind Flippy, and says that its robots can cut labor costs and improve safety by avoiding potential workplace hazards. Payments will be done through biometric stations through their partner PopID.

All of this culminates in the restaurant itself being considered as a "pseudo-museum experience presented by Miso."

Would you eat at a restaurant that had no human workers?
