AI is coming for the companies’ hiring plans.

Klarna, the buy-now-pay-later firm will freeze hiring for all roles (except engineering) that it thinks will be replaced by AI. It’s a stance that other firms like IBM and Dropbox have also flirted with as there is huge appeal in the potential cost-savings and efficiency gains.
