🥟 Chao-Down #227 Google unveils multimodal AI model Gemini, Generative AI and Big Tech's water problem, Meta and IBM form "AI Alliance" to promote open-source
Plus, researchers uncover new tricks to jailbreak AI models even closed-sourced ones like GPT4.
At long last, Google just announced their Gemini foundation model! It’s positioned as Google’s “most capable AI model yet” and centers around multi-modality or being able to work with text, image, audio, and video data.
Interestingly enough it’ll come in the form of three models: Gemini Ultra, Gemini Pro, and Gemini Nano — the latter of which is meant to run on edge and mobile devices.
