Meta just had their big AI day at their Connect conference. There’s a lot to unpack, but here were the two standouts for me:

Meta AI - An Assistant That Spans Our Apps and Devices

• Powered by a custom large language model in the LLama family that can search the web through a partnership with Bing.

AI Characters and Celebrities

• People like NBA star Chris Paul, Kendall Jenner, Mr. Beast, and Tom Brady offered their likeness and personality to Meta so that users could have a unique conversation with these various personas.
