Comparing the rate of progress of AI to the industrial revolution, Chris Hyams says that “waves of technological innovation” is happening much faster than ever before with AI. Whereas the rise of the internet turned the travel, retail, and music industries "upside down" in just a decade, AI is poised to disrupt even more in a shorter period of time.

Where does that leave college students and recent graduates? In a research report published by Indeed, nearly 1 in 5 jobs are “highly exposed” to generative AI and risk being displaced.
